Amberley Snyder

Special Guest

Amberley was born in California during her dad’s baseball career, as the second of six children. Amberley fell in love with horses at a young age and began competing in rodeo events by seven. Her talent led her to win the World All Around Championship in 2009 with the National Little Britches Rodeo Association.

In January of 2010, Amberley was involved in a rollover truck accident, leaving her paralyzed from the waist down. Eighteen months after that day, with a seatbelt on her saddle, she returned to competing in rodeo. As the only professional paralyzed barrel racer in the United States, she continues to compete and has qualified for two Wilderness Circuit Finals as well as the American Rodeo.

Netflix brought Amberley’s story to life in the biopic film “Walk. Ride. Rodeo.” titled after her children’s book. Amberley and her horse, Power, have since then played themselves in the Paramount series, Yellowstone, as well as a film titled “A Cowgirl’s Song.”

Amberley was recently married and when she isn’t on a horse or on a stage, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her family in Utah.

Amberley’s tenacity and perseverance has inspired many. For over fifteen years, she has been sharing her story of triumph over tragedy to audiences around the world. As a speaker, social influencer, barrel racer, author and actor, she strives to motivate others to get back on the horse.

Join us to see Amberley at the Michigan Horse Expo:

Wendy J. Winn
Clinician

Wendy J. Winn is a third-generation horsewoman from southeastern Idaho who spent her formative years honing her skills and dreaming big. After graduating from high school, she fell in love and married Casy Winn while attending Utah State University, and together they embarked on an incredible journey. With over 30 years of marriage, they have actively participated in J.H., H.S., and College Rodeo, along with horse judging and 4-H activities. They have hosted a variety of clinics in biomechanics, saddle fitting, barrel racing, roping, bull riding, and horsemanship, allowing them to learn and grow together. The Winn legacy thrives on values of education, horsemanship, coaching, saddle fitting, Christianity, and service. With extensive experience in training and understanding horses, Wendy specializes in the biomechanics of horse and rider while providing clinics across the U.S, Canada, Europe, and Australia. Wendy has been a featured guest speaker at the Equine Vet Conference for the past two years, speaking to Equine Vets about saddle fit and how we can bridge the gap in the horse industry with education. Wendy has designed saddle trees, saddles, and fit 7,000 horses and still counting. Brandt Clark

Clinician

Brandt Clark is a second-generation horseman whose work is rooted in experience, humility, and a deep respect for the individuality of each horse. Having learned from some of the best in the equine industry, Brandt's approach is ever-evolving—guided by the belief that each horse is only doing what he thinks he needs to do or should be doing and must be met where they are mentally, physically, and emotionally. Rather than forcing methods, he focuses on leadership, trust, and building genuine partnerships between horse and rider.
At his farm, Brandt offers hands-on training, personalized evaluation sessions, and customized plans tailored to both horse and rider. Brandt is committed to helping others grow alongside their horses through thoughtful, TRUTH-BASED horsemanship.

ProHorse Training

Clinician

ProHorse Training, based in Alberta, Canada, is dedicated to helping horses and humans connect through understanding, not force. Specializing in starting young horses and working with so-called “problem horses,” ProHorse is best known for its unique approach to Liberty Training—where the goal isn’t to teach tricks, but to communicate through body language.

At ProHorse, we believe “Liberty is a language.”

That’s why we focus on how horses naturally think, move, and interact. Our training is grounded in evidence-based, brain-informed horsemanship, developed from in-depth study of horse behavior, instincts, and how prey animals learn.

Instead of controlling horses, we teach humans to understand them.

Our clinics help participants read and respond to their horse’s body language, creating partnerships based on clarity, respect, and trust—no ropes required.

Whether starting a young horse, helping a challenging one, or deepening a liberty connection, ProHorse Training offers a path that puts the horse first—always.
